Dear Cathedral Parents,
It’s hard to believe that we are well into the summer and school is just around the corner! We, as your new HSA Board, look forward to an exciting year of wonderful activities for the 2011-2012 school year.
We hope that you will join us for the Back to School Parent Breakfast immediately following morning assembly on August 18th, the first day of school. It is a time to celebrate the beginning of the school year, catch up with old friends and welcome our wonderful new parents. At 8:30 a.m. that day, we will have an orientation that is geared for new parents but all are welcome to attend. The orientation will cover the music and sports programs, HSA activities and school policies, plus time for questions and answers.
The HSA looks forward to holding many of its traditional events this year including the Fall Festival, Halloween Party, Secret Santa, cookies after the Christmas Shows, Teacher Appreciation, International Night, Discovery Day, Field Day as well as quarterly HSA meetings. We hope you and your family will participate in most or all of these activities!
There are many opportunities for parents to share their time and talent with our school. Our community needs parents to help organize events, coach sports teams and Science Olympiad, serve on committees, and participate in many other important tasks. Opportunities for volunteer sign-up will be discussed at the Back to School Parent Breakfast.
