Technology Program
Our technology program at Cathedral is integrated into the core curriculum. What this means is instead of a child only being exposed to technology in a stand alone 45 minute a week class, Cathedral students use technology throughout all of their classes. We are project based in this regard so the students get a lot of hands on work with various technologies. Fifth and sixth grade students currently carry laptops all during their school day. Students in other grades our able to go to the media center with their teachers to work on projects.
Our technology program was recently showcased at the Diocesan Fall Professional Development Day for Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Raleigh. The following video was shown to all Diocesan teachers:
