Sacred Heart Cathedral School is a small private parochial elementary and middle school located in downtown Raleigh on Hillsborough Street. Our student body represents the diversity of our great City both socio-economically and culturally. Since 1909, Sacred Heart Cathedral School has continued its rich tradition of offering the very best in a quality education as well as extra-curricular opportunities for its students to become the very best that they can be - now and in the future!

 

Recently, The U.S. Department of Education Secretary, Margaret Spellings, announced that Sacred Heart Cathedral School had been chosen as a National No Child Left Behind - Blue Ribbon School for 2007! This award recognizes public and private schools across the country in one of two ways: either the school has made significant progress in closing the achievement gap or the students in the school achieve at very high levels.  We are being recognized for high achievement – being in the top 10% on national achievement tests like the Iowa Test of Basic Skills in both reading and math. 

 

Our goal is to reach the same level of excellence with our athletic program as we achieved with our academic program. Your involvement in our golf tournament will help in our continued efforts to enhance our athletic department including purchase of uniforms and equipment and gym rentals. Currently, our school does not have our own facilities on campus to host home games and is renting gym space. We also do not own transportation equipment to shuttle our athletes to and from games. Your participation and sponsorship donation to Sacred Heart Cathedral School will directly benefit our students, who have always been and continue to be our focus, academically, spiritually, and through our athletic programs.
